Welcome to
Intercultural English.

Helping people improve their English & communication skills.

The key to communicating with people from other countries and cultures is to understand that, sometimes, just speaking English isn't always enough. People around the world often use the English language in different ways. To communicate more successfully, you can develop your English skills further, by improving your awareness of how people from other cultures communicate.

   What is Culture?
Culture can mean different things to different people. Ask a Social Scientist or a Professor the Humanities this question, and you will probably get completely different answers. By the end of Unit I: What is Culture?, you will understand why this question can be so difficult to answer, and hopefully come up with a definition of your own!
